I have just registered and wanted to say Hi to you all. I've often come on this forum as a non member when searching for advice so I thought I'd take the plunge and actually join today :)

I own a OTTB who is 9 and we are both currently coming back into regular work after some time off.

This was my boy when I first bought him

And here he is now :)

We've got a little way to go but getting there.

Hi there - I too have been a "read & run" but decided that people weren't going to eat me so found the most obscure user name & got typing.:)

Your boy looks gorgeous and you should be very pleased with the results your hard work is producing. Are you out competing yet?

I am owned by a trio of NF ponies - having lost my brilliant jumping NF to unexpected navicular & DDFT last June I needed a project, who is now backed and riding away nicely (barring the odd moment). Waiting in the wings is a 2 yo chestnut boy who is growing in front of my eyes (his breeder is also my instructor) & I keep telling her she has bred me a Suffolk Punch by mistake! Finally my husband's Arab/NF/TB who only knows one speed - flat out - so I'm his dinner lady not rider!

Enough rambling on just wanted to welcome you on board:D

Thanks everyone for a lovely welcome!

We're currently building up to competing, I'm hoping to event with him but we're concentrating on Dressage and general fitness atm until we're both a bit fitter.

We've just been treated to a hot horse shower for a mothers day pressie. It should arrive next week so he'll be all sparkly and clean soon too :D
