newbie :)

Hello and welcome!! I'm still a fairly newbie myself, just getting the hang of things. when you post something, before you click submit, scroll down and change to instant message notification so you know who replies. Horsewise, I've gone from 6 to 3, had to put my two best angels down over the last couple of months, sold my filly (yipee!!) and am now left wit 2 yearlings and a 3 year old.
What are your horses like?? where are you from?? I'm from Tipperary, in Ireland, but so love this site. It's very addictive!!!
Well, best of luck!!

Sorry for asking what they were like, now saw the video, they are cool, can you come over here and do that with mine PLEASE!!!!!!!

Makes mine look like wild crazy horses. Thought I was doing well to catch them in the field. By the way, I'm a talker that goes off in rants, was born with it , Sorry!!!!

thanks for the VERY warm welcome :) lol. i can see that i will be spending alot of time on here, hehe. right bit of info on my neds ( had a thick moment on my original post)
in order of appearance :

murphy- 14yrs 14.2hh grey connamara gelding, a real nice sort who scools nicely and will jump the biggest hedges out hunting

hannah(my little girl)- 2yrs chestnut arab filly, the sweetest, bravest, loyalest most loving little filly you could wish for.

casper- 4yrs grey british riding pony gelding, a very clever, showy little chap with a trot to die for. bred for the showring and he knows it.lol.(cocky git!)

biz- yearling welsh a gelding, we've only had biz for about 2 weeks, hes been saved from the meat wagon twice as up untill 3 days before we had him he was a very unruly colt.lol. but so far he has proved to be a very kind willing young man.

fargo- 2yrs bay tb x cob gelding, what can i say..... he has been ours since in the womb (a friend bred him) we imprinted him as a newborn and i can honestly say you can do anything with him.a true gent.lol.

sunny- 12 yrs grey arab mare, sunny is an absolute star, i have her on loan from a lovely family stud. she has been a broodmare all her life but we have broken her in and she loves going for a poddle round the village but most of all she loves showing in hand. she has impeccable maners and is very good for converting people to liking arabs

hope this gives you a little bit of an idea our gang x
P.S fitzaud2 would love to come over.....can i bring my mum haha

All your horses sound as beautiful as they look. :D :D :D Epec Biz Ohh I love him so much. (If he goes missing don't look in my field ok I just have a small dun yearling welsh who looks egsactly like him ;) :p :D :D :D)
It's nice to see Arabs owned by someone who knows them. I think they just have a bad reputation as the wrong type of person owns them. :(

ok laura, i beleive you hehehe, hes a lovely little pony he just needs some tlc.lol. i know what you mean regarding arabs although i have only had them around a year... they are not that different to other breeds apart from the fact that they are very clever. i think so long as you remember this and respect them they are one of the easiest breeds.lol. :)

lol I think you need to be an arab person to have one. I was once offered a job at an arab stud. I was out riding my friends Arab (who was a total nut case when she rode it but fine with me) and i saw the head groom out on one of the stallions. He said I was an "Arab person" and did i want to work for him. I said no i'm a "pony person" you see. (probably a bit obvious as Lucy was 13.2hh and Horrid Herbie my other one is 12.2hh :p :D :D) I like Arabs but don't want one of my own :) Good luck with all yours. Hope you continu to have lots of fun with them.
