How do I get rid of this newbie thing that keeps coming up by my name and what is this carpal tunnel thing by other peoples name? do I have to be on here for a few months before I become a regular?

It goes on the number of posts you have made.
I think you can turn it off in user options.
Once your number of posts increases, your name will change too.
