Hi Guys,
I thought Id come and introduce myself as Im a newbie here, I have been reading this great forum and thought I would like to be a part of it ..(Might learn something new and make a few friends
) anyways
my name is Rachel Harper, Im 28 years old and live in Sevenoaks and have 3 Horses. We decided to moved to Sevenoaks 3 years ago to provide the horses with bigger paddocks then we already had, they love it here and Im glad we moved although I dont seem to spend as much time with them as I used to, because of the increased work load!
I have Shire X TB whos 16 years old - 16HH Black - called Millie even though shes getting on a bit, she still loves to enter Novice Jumping Events, she used to enjoy cross country but she's now enjoying the good life being semi retired eating grass and getting us to look after her!
I also have a Dartmoor - 6 years old Dark Bay called Daisy who is a bit mischievous! She is the Daughter of in Hand Champion "Hopelaws Budgerirygar". Daisy (or Paramount Daisy is her show name) was shown in hand for her first 2 years and has won an number of first places in local shows. Im looking at taking her to the County Shows this year after 2 years away from the ring. She is a beautiful mover who has her Fathers presence and attitude.
And then theres Baz! Baz is a Chestnut stallion (well he will be) who will be 2 in April. We bought him when he was 6 months old. He is a bit of a player when it comes to the ladies & Im hoping to breed him with Daisy in the next 12-18 months!!
