how can we reach the wider equestrian community? We need literally every horse lover in the country (and abroad) to sign this petition but many don't even know it exists. How about contacting ridnig clubs, pony clubs, riding schools and livery yards etc to get them to put it on their websites and put posters up?

Just had a look at the petition. Over 13,000 names now. One of them I spotted was:

If people like that are prepared to put their name down then surely this petition has to be taken seriously.
