Just getting ideas, we hope to be moving to the area at some point ( once CV9 goes away) does anyone know good farriers, equine vets, physio, hay/straw/feed suppliers in the area. I've found a few on internet but word of mouth us sometimes better. Thank you!

I'm a few hours away in South Wales so don't know a lot about that sort of thing but there's a programme on iPlayer (it only got broadcast on BBC Wales) called Only Foals and Horses that follows Dyffryn Tywi Equine Vets, a practice not far from Carmarthen. Might be worth a watch to see if you like them! There's also Cotts in Narberth - they have a practice near me but Narberth is their main hospital - they have an excellent reputation throughout S & W. Wales

Thank you, any recommendations on fb pages? Moving from other side of the country so trying to find out these things is quite hard!

Oh vets I can recommend. Castle House Vets.

Actually Priory in Cardigan would probably be better as they have a large animal treatment centre on site.

The vet hospital in Narbeth (Cotts equine hospital) is brilliant Really good facilities vets are excellent they ..operates call out zone charges for routine work.
There are some.good farriers I use Grant Lewis who is excellent.
There is a lot of hay made locally Most straw come in from England John Jennings is a local supplier for that area farmer near Boncath.

I agree that Cotts Vets are very good. Debbie at The Stable Corner tack shop is very nice, helpful and would be a good place for local info. Also she does great tack repairs and has made new bridles for me. I think the local riding club is Tivyside, depending where you are there is also Towy Valley RC.
