I have looked everywhere on the internet to see the heights for the regionals that qualify for hoys etc, I know there are 3 rounds, but what height does the first round start at in the 2nd rounds for both Newcomers & Fox? I think Disc starts at 1.10 so does Newcomers start at 1.20? Can't seem to find anything on the british show jumping site either and it says nothing on any of the schedules! Thanks :) Issy

Very big

Course builder also has a different measuring stick to every one else lol, i jumped a newcomers couple of years ago, the warm up class was a big 1.25, and then they put them up!

(we jumped clear 1st round, 4 in second round) :)

Second this, I jumped the warm-up class for the Fox 2nd round at Broomes a few years ago. It was billed at 1.30m but was the biggest 1.30 I've ever seen, then they put them up for the Fox  I was very glad I wasn't jumping in it

i have noticed this recently too.. jumping a novice horse round a discovery class was about 1m10 not 1m! not really fair in my opinion!
