For those of you with newly backed youngsters, what do you use (if anything) for leg protection against knocks etc......
Am using WW brushing boots all round but find these to be quite hard on sensitive legs? (rubbing wise)
Seen the stretch & flex wraps and the training ones too which seem to offer a bit more support.
Does anyone use them? do they last well?
thanks

I havent used them on a youngster but my gelding who was used mainly for dressage and hacking used the stretch and flex flatwork boots on his back legs just to give a little extra support and i foudn them great, very supportive, never slipped or twisted and very easy to get clean!

I use a pair of very soft flexible (cheap and old) brushing boots on the front only on my youngster, because when I ride and lead her out she walks right under my older horses back feet I want to prevent her getting caught.
