Just had my jump saddle reflocked for new mare (the one with the lump that comes up occasionally from the 'amazing' saddle, so i'm a bit paranoid about her back, to say the least).
it's not really symmetrical at the front - as you can see from the pic. it's soft-flocked with white wool, and serge, so not firm at all, obv. hasn't been sat in yet, so will obv flatten out and firm up with a bit of use, and weight on it!
would you:
take it back to be evened up (at no charge), just in case, or
try riding in it and see if it sits level and stays in the middle (taking it back if not, obv), and not be so paranoid!
