Hey guys I'm just wondering if anybody had had any experiences good or bad with newmarket Bloodroot ointment online, I've read really good reviews on this & wondering if anybody on this has used it ☺ my lady has a small 1 less than 2 cm on on her head just below her ear & the browband is starting interfere with it 😦 so it needs be treated & I'm slow use Liverpool cream as well as other veterinary options as they can be severe.

Yes, I used it successfully on a stubborn verrucous sarcoid. I'd previously treated said sarcoid with 2 separate courses of Liverpool cream and each time it grew back bigger.
The Newmarket bloodroot ointment only cost £34 online and worked a treat. That's over 2 years ago now and, touch wood, no reappearance!
 
My horse only had 1 sarcoid. It was the size of a 10p coin initially, but ended up 5 times that size after 2 courses of Liverpool cream. No more have appeared so far!
 
Awh that's brilliant you've had great success with it. Did u feed any immune supplement when doing cream as well? my lady's sarcoid is only very small so fingers crossed we have success with cream as it's in awful place had put stop 2 her breaking in over it as browband sits right on :(

Nope, I didn't feed any immune supplements. On reflection, my horse was only rising 5 when he developed the sarcoid plus in the midst of being backed, so perhaps it developed due to something lacking in his immune system at that age? I really don't know, and have never encountered sarcoids with any of my other horses.
Good luck with your girl. Hope the bloodroot is successful for treating her's too.
 
I've used it a few times and found it to be as severe as the Liverpool cream. In all cases the horses became very reluctant for you to get near them with it, even previously calm horses kicking out. However, the sarcoids I treated were quite large and near the hind legs or belly. I have heard they tend to be a bit more tolerant when the sarcoid is small and on the face.
