Hello,

I was wondering if anyone can help me?! I took my best friends 11yo brother to the National Horse Racing Museum yesterday and he caught the racing bug!! He went on the simulator and loved it- and was surprisingly good! perfectly balanced and the faster the simulator went the more he tucked down and relaxed!!

He is deperate to go to the Heath early one morning to watch the yards exercising- does anyone know if this is allowed?

I would like to know-
1) Where to park
2) best place to go to so we can see lots of strings
3) best time to get there?
4) best place for breakfast- or should we take bacon butties with us?!

Thanks!!

There is a road right through the middle of it which has a large car park at the top where all the trainers park etc and there is always parking spaces free.

The severals are over the road from that where they all warm up so is a good place to start.

Warren Hill is the most commonly used which runs adjacent to the car park so is a good starting place.

as for times, anywhere from 7am onwards at this time of year you will see plenty of horses.

Breakfast: The Clock Tower Cafe is alright, no frills etc. The golden lion is a wetherspoons and serves a good breakfast for good money or the New Astley Club serves a fantastic fried breakfast.

clock tower coming from waitrose way. take the second exit on the roundabout and then take the first left onto moulton road and follow that road up until you see the big layby style car park.
