Newmarket Joint Supplement

Re green lipped mussels, interesting that they seem to have popped up again as they had a brief period of popularity about 15 years ago. A friend put her pony on it and it went mental! :D But who knows what else was in the formulation.

One point that someone reminded me of recently, some of the joint supplements are made from shellfish shells, which in rare cases, could trigger someone with a severe shellfish allergy. This is even more likely in equine supplements as they cannot draw from any of the animal sources sometimes used in human and canine versions.

As I said, unlikely, but worth checking with anyone who is handling supplements.
