Concas, the 7 year-old bay Holsteiner stallion by Contender out of a mare by Caletto II, who has jumped so promisingly in Young Horse classes since 2005, ridden by Nick Skelton, was recently sold by John Hales. His new owner is 80-year-old Leon Melchior, founder of the Zangersheide Stud, and now carrying the famous Z suffix, he is being competed by Leon's 20-year-old daughter Judy Ann. On 30th September, he took 9th prize in the 7 year-old Final at the World Breeding Championships for Young Horses. He jumped 1st round clears in the 2 qualifying classes and had the 2nd fastest 4 fault round in the 39-strong Final.

Quidame des Hayettes Z has been partnered by Michael Whitaker since the autumn of 2005. In 2007 they have so far won 5 international classes, and in the 12 months ending 31st August, she won £55,381.
