Just had the physio out on Pony.

LOTS of back issues. She spent two hours on him and hopefully now he will feel much better.

In brief, he had swelling on his muscles each side of his withers, no flexion on the left side of his back. he went crazy when she was dealing with him on that side. He had a locked shoulder on the left all of which has been causing him to walk short and lock his neck which has caused him headaches. He looked hypnotised after she had finished with him. Totally different pony. It was absolutely fascinating to watch him. All the injuries and problems are historic and not related to what I have been doing thank goodness. New saddle is fine - the old one was too narrow and tight which caused the swelling. She said the old saddle has caused bad memories so i need to make sure he learns it doesn't hurt anymore.

Poor pony but now a happy pony :):) Thank goodness I called her out!

had mctimoney prac to my new boy saturday, he was an s down his spine and his hips were badly rotated. She straightened him out and he had yesterday off. Today he was mad for 10 mins, has to be ridden every day really, then he settled, we managed a walk on buckle end and spots of long and low work, not bad for a headcase!! He's been in pain for years judging from the muscle built up to compensate, so for me to see him relax that quickly was really positive and a lot sooner than myself or mctim prac expected.

Please everyone get your ponios checked regularly, mine are done every 3-6 months because I am unlevel myself but 6 monthly at least.

Fantastic news for your pony!!! Whata relief to be able to see a change like that. Its so great. I agree, get ponies checked!
