And its not a fluke!
2 days on the trot Bob has reappeared from the hedge with a dead baby rabbit and when told to 'leave' he has!!
Any day now the real Bob will be returned......

Maybe Bob doesn't like rabbit, or he might think that you really appreciate his sharing of his kill! But good on him for keeping the population down. Go Bob there are loads more where they came from! Of course he could be possessed by a spangle or something!!

Digger got a baby one the other day but there was no way he was giving that up and nothing was left for me or his mate Blue!

My Fox terrier loses interest as soon as they stop moving (which is straight away) Terriers don't you just luv em'

:D Haha! :D

Though I'm not so sure it's such a rare thing. Bear The Border drops anything on command - dead, alive or inanimate.

Can't decide if he's super-obedient:eek:, just willing to please:), or on a hidden agenda to something else........!!;):D

Lord, mine would just eat it! Bear (the springer as opposed to the Border!) is not very good-yet-at dropping things. Zak is fabulous-like he's been shocked or something, he's so quick! It's hilarious! I did spend about two hours one night with him on my knee asking him to leave, give, take. Bless! Trouble is, he forever wants to practise that (unless Animal Cops is on, in which case he must tip his head sideways and watch with occasional little growls if a very big dog comes on.

TROLL!! :p I had to go an entire walk recently with a very smug terrier and a baby rabbit hanging out of her mouth! Traumatised some kids but she was not for letting go!

Bob does normally devour them before i can get anywhere near him....maybe they were too fresh for him?!

Lazybee......Bob is Fox terrier cross, maybe its the breeding!

Tinkerbee....we were put with my sisters spangle a few weeks ago and the dogs were playing tug of war with a rabbit....in a country park with families about and we couldn't get near them to take it off them! This must mean that spangles are a bad influence on terriers!!
