Peaches first went lame last April on 2/10 lame and only on a right cirlce, Had box rest for 2 weeks - no change then xrays and nerve block vet said isolated to foot and he said put shoes on ( she was barefoot trimmed) and re balance foot and all should be ok Must also say we had only had her 3 months at this stage so do not have clear history of past. so had feet done and she went sound about xmas time ground soft. All ok until about April again this year and lame again exactly same. so had silicon pads put in he feet. she has had them about 3 weeks now and if anything they have made her worse so wont have them again. Anyway what next. she is in her late teens and she is not insured so can not keep going vet route especially as he has not given any answers yet.
was thinking of tryins some form of alternative to bute but after investigating it is a minefield with so much choice and nothing seems to work for everyone,
Sell me your ideas. She is only lame on a circle so light hacks are not a problem but would like her to be sound
