Next weekend...

If I, for some insane reason, entered a '2 phase horse trial' at Sapey next weekend, would I be frowned upon for using a race exercise saddle?

i doubt anyone would notice, but if they did i can't see what they can do, after all people do dressage in a jumping saddle!

I might take the grey, theres a 2ft6, 3ft and 3ft6. The lower 2 are probs to small for him, but dont wanna be doing any tricky combinations/steps.
I keep trying but just can't ride in a hard saddle - makes me feel like a sack of spuds!

Possibly wise popping him into the 3ft as you will probably jump intro and some PN fences. 3'6 and you could be steaming over the Novice course! I know they have steps at Sapey and obviously if its held over the eventer course there will be combos.

absolutley nothing! It is a work in progress.
SM, not sure the link is there anymore (try refreshing). I ran out of quota for the site, so deleted the links page to free some up. Then my computer died and I lost my programme, so I cant edit at all now.
They have a hunter trial there this weekend, so may wander over for a gander.
