Just looking to treat myself to a pair of really nice competition jods (beigy/creamy colour pref)... what can people recommend

i luckily won 2 pairs of barbour full seated ones an ivory colour, i have only worn the one pair and worn them for 2 years now and they still look great and are not worn at all.

Not sure if they still make them but they do come up on ebay quite often

Barbour for me, not a fan of full seats tho (morbid fear of falling off at water jump then having to complete with wet chamoix leather seat

!!), I've got some yellowy ones that are very smart and very comfortable. Don't think they make them anymore though but as FranA said they do appear on e-bay!

Eurostar. They do lovely full seat competition breeches in a flattering just off white colour - hard to describe, its sort of ivory, neither stark white or cream, and very classy! Lovely soft leather seat and very comfortable.

I have a pair of Kyra K's really nice, good value for money, wash well after a muddy dunking (more than once), they come in heavy or lite weight materials (summer/winter)! came with a really nice belt too!!

i'm going to get a pair of Bentex ones for this season though, because i'm getting hooked on how sticky they are!

Seconded, good as the better known names without the price tag

RTS (Bentex) amazing sticky bum seat that has not lost its stickyness 3 years down the line.

They cost over £100 in this country, however it is possible to get them through lady in spain on ebay for £80 or thereabouts.

They also do highwaisted.
