I'd really like to treat myself to some new johdpurs, I want some nice ones to wear when I'm going to ride rather than just muck out, I wear cheap Tesco or Dublin ones everyday, the dublins are ok but the Tesco ones are shrinking, I only wear them with wellies now! I can't afford the really expensive ones like Pikeur etc, but I can spend about £40-50 if they look good and are going to last me - any suggestions??

Yes another vote for Caldene belgrade, they wash and wear brilliantly, I did buy a cheaper pair, and wished I hadn't bothered, just wasted my money!.

Incidently if you are a small person you can get the Belgrade Juniors far cheaper than the adults!

I use Country Supplies all the time and they are great, most things are cheaper and delivery is usually free too.

Thanks - that country supplies website looks really good and I think I'll buy some caldene ones, they look good, but I'm a polular size so they don't have much left!

My favourite are the Just Togs Milan breeches, cost around £48 from Derby House. They have a wide waist band which is very flattering for the tummy area and the fabric is fab. Also, they don't sit too high, unlike many other breeches I own. Definitely recommend, just wish they did them in more colours.
