Sorry this is probably going to be a pointless post but I'm just so happy with what the postman brought me today. :D Due to lack of transport I do alot of online showing with the boys and it also means I can still compeat Lucy. I am always excited when the rosettes arrive in the post. :D Today one of the packages was bigger than I thought it would have been as it was only supposed to contain one rosette. A 6th place for Lucy in a poetry and photo class.
I opened the package and couldn't believe it when I pulled out a sash :D :D :D I've never won a sash before and I didn't realise I had entered a sash class :D :D :D :D And to win it with Lucy realy is a dream come true.

It's always been a dream of mine to win a sash and to win it with Lucy is amazing. Here is the photo and poem that got the 6th place.

I had never heard of online showing before - that's really interesting. How does it work?

What a lovely poem, and congratulations on the sash, if it were me I'd be wearing it ;)

It describes us perfectly ;) :D

lincolnlady and ghostie there are loads of sites doing it. They have a new schedule every month with classes for everyone. From best dressage horse/pony to muddest horse/pony. You choose the classes you wish to enter and email a photo for that class pay your entry. It is uploaded onto the website so you can see everyone who has entered the classes. It is then judged and you get placings and the rosettes/ sashes/ trophies are sent in the post :)

I really don't like online showing, but until you'd posted this, I'd never thought about it in this way before. How lovely :) well done you. Good poem, too. x

Cedars I never realy liked it before and would still rather go to real shows with the boys if i'm truly honest. But since starting the online showing i'm abit hooked :o esp since I have no way of getting to real life shows at the mo :( I do love the fact that Lucy can still compeat so even if I manage to get some transport (By some miricle) I'll prob still do it with her :)
