Hey guys, can anyone recommend a breeder of nice young horses in east anglia? I'm looking for something 2-4 yrs old (unbroken if at the older end of that), to make around 16.1hh - preferably a mare/filly with a bit of substance. Ive trawled through countless websites and nothing is really floating my boat! Or if anyone can recommend any websites to look through then that would be great. cheers!

Hi, I don't know if this will be any use at all but I thought I would mention them. I bought my IDxTB mare from Hales Hall, Hales which is between Beccles and Norwich in Suffolk. They breed event horses and don't often sell on their youngsters but it might be worth giving them a call.
I went to see Lucy when she had just turned 4 years old. She had had a saddle on and had been walked and trotted in a straight line but that was it, so I could begin her training from the get go. They were selling her as they thought she would shape more into a dressage prospect rather than an eventer. Janette Brakewell rides one of their horses. Lucy had a lovely personality and very trainable nature and I got to see her dad a beautiful ID stallion being worked when I was there.
Her advert was in H+H but it may be worth giving them a call to see if they have anything they might consider selling. I also got my border collie from there too!
