I have asked the owner what they are expecting money wise and explained what I am happy to offer (a good home experienced in unhandled and unstarted horses and a token amount of money)

I’m not normally a sucker like this, but something about her has stuck with me

Well fingers crossed horse lands on her feet and does you proud. Stick to your guns on token only money because you will likely need to invest quite a lot to get her right, with the risk of it’s not working too.

I paid £250 for a pair of mares who were in a very similar state - now happy, thriving and content with their new jobs! Not how it always goes though so proceed with caution!
