Niche thread alert... Iconic non-UK equestrian brands?

I have been so enjoying @Michen 's thread about relocating to the States and looked up a brand of rug mentioned (Baker Blankets- Want one!!) I am now wondering what other iconic non-UK based brands and products are out there. I can't really contribute much other than Arrandu Talabarteria and Gaucho Clothing though both of those are shops rather than brands. Even so, worth window shopping :) Does anyone have other non uk Equestrian shopping recommendations? (Real or dream shopping - either will do!)
 
Does it have to be horsey?

I love Native deodorant and they will no longer ship to the UK. You can get them in the UK, if you wish to pay 4 x the usual cost. However, if you go to Amazon.com, as opposed to Amazon.co.uk, you can simply order, pay in $ and they ship to the UK for not that much more.

Every so often I get a whole batch in.
 
Not a brand but we used to like going to German pet food shops and buying equine shaped biscuits in all different flavours by the scoop for our pony. They were very reasonably priced compared the expensive tubs of them I’ve seen at horse shows here.
 
Gosh, I haven't bought anything from a UK brand for decades, but then I'm doing non-conventional (in the UK at any rate) things with horses these days and buy everything from Spain or Portugal. After enjoying the superior quality and craftsmanship, and extremely reasonable pricing, I'd buy "normal" tack and stuff from there now too if I was to need it.
 
Omg yyyeeessss Baker Blankets!!!!! I also loved my Kerrits Cross-Over knee patch breeches which I can't get over here :( I did have quite a few Tailored Sportsman items as well back home which I loved. I haven't seen HDR either over here but generally wasn't a fan of that brand anyways.

Bomber bits and NTR would be my top two.
Bomber mostly because I grew up with him making all my riding boots and all our polocrosse tack in South Africa. He used to tell me he was going to revolutionise bitting, and gave me the first prototype of the Happy Tongue to try on a horse we had who had had most of her tongue cut out. He was right and his bits are just incredible.

NTR I used to pick up whenever I was in Australia for work when I was with Weatherbeeta. Just the BEST plaiting stuff.
 
Uhip - jackets; I absolutely love their functionality. I have 2 I bought in the sale. One short, one long. I also thought I had destroyed the short one by giving it a good old thorough wear… general grime with seemingly staining sheep foot sprays/raddle/ (it is a non practical light colour) and it’s come up good as new!!

pikeur - they wash and wash and still look as good as new after many tumbles and scrapes.
sadly discontinued my coveted britches (lugana!!) if anyone can find me a pair in white size 8…. I cannot find white breeches in a suede/mc crown seat anywhere; I absolutely loathe sticky.

You can still get Lugana breeches! These are the sightly more modern material and without the velcro on the legs ones but available in all the colours https://www.pikeur.de/gb/en/LUGANA-STRETCH/140607-482.503733

I'm wondering about a Uhip jacket and possibly skirt for work ie out saddle fitting. Do the mid layer liners actually snap into the matching jacket/coat does anyone know?

I’m afraid I don’t know - but when I had a query their customer service team were enormously helpful so it’s worth asking. Btw - I found that they came up very big - despite using the measurements they stated the first coat was way too big, and they replaced it immediately. Even the one I have now is probably a touch large and if ordering again I’d go down another size.

I was going to say the same, really nice quality attractive stuff. Very sad that we can't get it over here any more. When my current pairs wear out I may have to start exploiting my parents' American friends!

The biggest thing I miss from America is SmartPak Equine.. they would pre measure all your supplements and send them back with the horses name on it ready for each day. If you have a lot of horses or a big yard it was everything. Not the most environmentally friendly option but when it came out it was a revelation.

Also great things are Soft Ride hoof boots, super durable and great for long trailer rides reducing concussion or on stall rest.
The US also has great leg wraps/standing bandages huge and puffy and non stretch and made out of cotton. They are a lot cheaper there as well (pick some up when you have a holiday) and the tack shops will often make to order so you can get really long ones in your show colors. BB Satin Star cotton gamgee holds together so much nicer than what I've been able to find here.
Thankfully my Baker blanket I brought from home fits my horse here.

Well it depends on what you buy and what the exchange rate is I have found. I have bought the charmingly named 'Field Panties' (Bombachas/riding trousers) really, really reasonably including postage etc so I guess you just have to do the browsing lol. It is a very atmospheric shop. I probably wouldn't buy any of the stuff on this page either.

Glaze and Gordon sell some of the Kerrits range, worth a look
 
Smart Pak was founded by a graduate of my university. Naturally, the uni's boarding barn was quick on the uptake. By my second or third year, all boarder horses were required to use Smart Pak. No tubs of supplements allowed. They are super easy because there's no measuring of supplements or millions of tubs and packets cluttering up the feed room, but the packaging waste.... Oy. Environmentally friendly it is not.

I kept my subscription when I graduated (being extremely conscious of how much stuff you threw away was less of a thing in 2005), then obviously cancelled it when I moved to the UK. They made it really tricky to cancel! I had to send them a grumpy email saying I. have. left. the. country to get them to do it.

The US and Europe have a much better range of tack and clothing than anything here.
