How many of you have nicknames for your horse?

Elvis has a few;

Elvissimo
Pelvis
Stinker
Stinkerbell
Trouble

These are the most frequently used names. The stinker ones are because Elvis loves lying in his own poo and hence can smell pretty bad.

So what names do your horses have?

I can't repeat what my horse was called today, after breaking a fence post, trashing her field and then rolling in the ***** mud!!!
My previous mare was nicknamed Noodles, and the shetland gets called TubbyBoo.
My new mare doesn't seem to have acquired one yet!

Big Girl, only 15.1 but when I bought he age 4 she was 14.3. Grumpy (says it all about face though does have a loving nature), mud monster. Her daughter was out with a 16.3 broodmare last summer who was nicknamed QE2 because of her size & large turning circle. My horse (only 14.3) got nicknamed 'tug boat' as she used to guide her in, & her shape (short / round, wasn't working last year), now it's stuck. Also called 'pumpkin' because of her colour.

26 yr old called 'the b7tch', let you guess why......

As ours have race names, most of them have nicknames (some of which are completely unrelated to their race names!):

Shes Some Deal = Star/Big Ears
Merrington Missile = Missile/Mr Grumps
Rooster Cogburn = Parker/Parker Pants
Young Stephen = Stevie
Wild Bill Hickock = Wild Bill/Billy
Cassius Clay = Cassius
Eternal Flame = Eternal/Moody Mare
Mattys Romance = Matty
Dark Velvet = The Boss
Coalford Tracey = Tracey
Tates Creek = Tate/Sugar
Saunders Beachgirl = Beachgirl/Old Girl
Vain In Spain = Rita

I must admit, as Eternal and me don't really get on that her usual nickname is slightly worse than what I've written!

Geoff (Praetorian Guard) gets a few...

Geoffrey (normally when he's being naughty/cheeky or I'm being stern)
Mr Stink
Stinker
Smell
Wee Man (he's 17hh)
Beast

I've just realised how derogatory my names for Geoff are. My previous horse, Fitzroy, was Fitz, or Fizzle, or Mr Fizz, and Minstrel was Mister Moo or Moobles, but Geoff just gets called insults in a cooing voice...

Mine's called poppet but I always call her Pops! I've never called her Poppet, even though she is one.

Also cheeky minx when she's naughty, or cuddlebug when she's doing something cute.

Stupid Pointer - Brains (ironic)
Whippet - Snippet Whippet / Whippety woo

Cat - Arsehat! (because he poo'd in my chair on Monday!) :)

At my old yard she used to be called 'The Moose' but I dropped that a few years ago as she doesn't behave remotely moose-like nowadays!
