Archie is Victor Meldrew/Swamp Donkey / Pillock for obvious reasons.
Monty is Monster / Monster Munch / Munchkin, just a progression of the same thing I suppose!

His stable name is Red but he gets called all sorts!
Main ones are Reddius, Handsome, Cheeky Beggar. Or when I'm annoyed with him it's Wally or Glenda (passport name is Cymdynfran Glen)

Blaze is Aunty Blaze because she looks after everyone. Jasmine's are much worse, mainly because she is a cow, lol
Camel, Cowbag, PsychoB***h, Evil black baggage are a few of them. And one strange nickname which has stuck since she was born, and that is Wizzle - as in 'Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear' so Wizzle was a foal.
Ok, I know I'm weird! :)

Isnt it funny how we lengthen their names mostly, not shorten them!

I always try not to call my horses derogatory names so that I dont think of them in that way (not saying other people do but its a bit of a hangup of mine!)

Harry is called Happy, Haps, Harold, Haroldinio, Sausage, Salchicha [Spanish for Sausage...] and Stanley (because my daughter thinks he should have been called Stanley)

Xas (pronounced Zazz) is 2 1/2 and huge but we still call him Foalie as we have had him since 6 months; also Zazzle, Zazzlecopter, Zazzabobble and Curly Wurly (he is curly)

Bilbo is brand new so he is just called Bilbo at the moment! :)

H's are usually not v complementary!

Tit is about the nicest and fairly affectionate

As he refuses to be caught it tends to be the word beginning with F and ending in Witt that Bridget Jones used to describe one of the types of men that she didn't want at through start of the first film :p
