just thought i'd share

HE IS IMPRESSIVE, BUT HAS AN UNCONVENTIONAL STYLE! HAVE ONE THAT CAN JUMP LIKE THAT AND USED TO THINK THAT I COULD'NT SIT IT!! JUST THINK IF HE WAS MORE CONVENTIONAL HOW MORE AMAZING HE WOULD BE? STILL THINK HE IS FAB THOUGH - LOOKS SO HAPPY IN HIS JOB

he's a real oddity style-wise though, he jumps up before he goes across, and hangs in the air a bit, that looks as though she missed by a mile but i bet she was just on a 'normal' long one really.
hope my FO one jumps as well as him though!

I love this horse. I have been lucky enough to ride him, as I used to work at his owners yard. His jump is amazing, I have never sat on anything else like it, and probably never will!!!!! Even as a 7/8 yo at 2* you could tell he was something really special. He is a superstar and such a gentleman to be around and handle, and has the mast fab attitude to his work, even on the boring roadwork hacks he used to have such a spring in his step. Can't wait to see him on more of the British teams, hopefully he is going to keep his spot as the pathfinder and be the next Over to You!!!!!!!

What a great pic, typical Opposition horse, bags of scope and the brain to go with it. He is my favourite eventer just now, but guess I'm biased as we have an oppy mare who looks just like him, she has heaps of scope too, and like him jumps with the back end tucked under rather than releasing it behind.

The photo looks as though you have photoshopped it and it it were any other horse I would think you had!

I have just found two pictures from a split second before and after that one, from a different angle. He certainly gives the fence plenty of room!

I'd love to measure exactly how high and how wide he jumped there.
Fence must be about 4foot & he's pratically jumping double that, so that is nearly 8 foot high...
If the photo dimensions are right he is taking off approx 12ft 9ins away from the fence.
Anyone know how far away he landed from the fence afterwards?
