My God, I'm still shaking..........
Mum's mare came over to me 3 weeks ago so I could get a bit of riding in (she's 18 and a homebred pet). Anyhow, I've got 2 pony mares which are very placid. Mums mare has been acting stallion like over the fence to my 2 which is really unusual so i've kept them apart.
Anyhow got up there tonight to find mum's mare has crashed through my post and rail fencing and was like a raging bull to my little ones. She actually mounted the old mare (25) and has put her back out! Managed to separate them eventually, but it has really shaken me up.
I'm so not used to her behaving like this, she's been so easy all her life! I just want my Mum to come and pick her up asap and take her back to her place........Mum wants me to phone vet tommorrow and get her horemones tested........too right!!
