As title says - has anyone used it on their jackets, and is it any good?

Do you put it in the washing machine?

Found out the hard way that mine and the kids' jackets are no longer waterproof yesterday, so thought Nikwax might be worth a try.

Or can anyone recommend another re proofer?

Ta muchly.

Yes its good stuff, they make Nikwax specifically for outdoor clothing. It may not be as effective if you have used domestic wash powder on your coats already. You will need to get the Nikwax and the re-proofer, wash your coats using the Techwash first then you will need to run the re-proofer through after washing.

Works really well as long as you havent used normal washing powder or conditioner on the garment you need to use the green capp for washing and purple for waterproofing. I usally wash then wash with proofer and then spray whilst garment is drying then everything is fully waterproof and i mean fully waterproof and clean.
