RIP nils

Aw thats terrible. Connections trained him at home in Eire before he moved over here. Was busy drowning the sorrows over the six nations so not up to speed withthe Midlands National. What happed? He was ante-post joint favourite wasnt he?

I worked 22yrs in Corals betting shops and never once did i have the courage to watch the race.
How tragic and very sad, especially as these horses love the job they do. So sorry for your sad loss.

What a sad end to a great career; my sympathies to everyone involved with him.

Were you at the yard when they had Sir Clement Freud's horse Dig Up St Edmunds, some time ago now? I foaled him down here, he was the most awful shaped thing you could have wished to see! His knees overlapped, down on his pasterns, all sorts wrong with him, then he nearly died at 4 days old, it was touch and go; was always surprised he ever made it to a course but he won and was placed several times. I've got a pic of him and Norman Williamson going down to the start at Ludlow sitting on my desk!
