Hi,
Just a quick question...Has anyone any experience with Nina Ottosson dog toys?

They are puzzle based treat toys that are often made of wood. They encourage the dog to move parts of the toy to find a treat.

I have seen them on a website and look great fun for my inquisitive collie however they are a bit pricey (Over £30!!) and I'd love some feedback (good or bad) before i splash my cash.

Have used them, have one or would like one?!!?

Thanks :)

:D yes i have 2 of them, a round one and an oblong one, both wooden. they are very sturdy and both of my dogs(collie cross & lurcher) have worked out how to get the treats and seem to really enjoy them. i think i got mine online from pet planet but cant remember how much i paid. i think they are great to give them something to think about...

Great, Thanks.

I'm thinking of getting the one where the dog moves the square from one end to the other by his nose or paw and it reveals a treat but at £32.99 it's going to be an expensive toy of he doesn't like it.
But, he loves his Kong and treat cube so I'm hoping he'll like this...if he likes them then that's birthday and Christmas pressies sorted out for him!!!

ive got the dog twister and the dog brick. both are good but i think if i was going to get one it would be the brick, it takes a bit longer...my friend has borrowed both and she has a pointer and a shitszu and both enjoy although the pointer took a little longer to get the idea, the shitszu got it straight away.....as you have a collie i would think he would enjoy the challenge and will be quite quick to work it out.....:D:D

I have two, but the plastic versions that are available in pet stores here. Both dogs seem to enjoy them but figured them out pretty quickly so it doesn't really kill a lot of time for them.
