Anyone tow with one of these?

I'm looking at the 2.5 diesel (not sure if there are others). Have a terrano at the moment (which I love but is v old and high miles now) and have struggled to find an affordable 4X4 thats up to the job (I confess to towing with a freelander once, so once bitten and all that)

Any comments appreciated

I have a Navarra bought it new in 2002, and it is still going strong. Tows my 510 ifor with ease with 2 X17'2 and i can tell you the roads round here are seriously trying. I am now up to 125,000 miles on mine - doesn;t use oil, economical, and tows with ease. Mine is teh 2.4 turbo diesel.

just bought a new isuzu denver crew cab and reallly love it tows a dream
even 16ft tri axle trailer witn 20+ sheep and thier lambs in it ave 22 mpg around 3ton
and 33mpg without trailer.

I have a Navarra, they are not up to the job, be very carefulthey have a known issue with the clutch with Nissan don't tell you about, we have had 3 new clutches fitted in 2 years, 2 under waranty.

They do tow ok although get a wagon, Iwouldn't risk a Nissan towing after our experience. They might be nice a comfy and look cool but they are not up to the job.

but our 03 defender had a clutch at 62000 miles then 2500 milles later it has gone again and no one wants to honour warrenty on it, last 4 months warrenty 12 mths,

Sadly they are not the best some of the previous ones had serious engine problems and the new current ones drink diesel and have every type of problem from electrical to , mecanical the back axles seem to be a weak spot, A friend has had two of the current models they both have spent a lot of time in the garage however I know other people who are happy with theirs.. they are built in spain sadly non of the pick ups are built in japan hence they suffer from variable build quality and localy sourced parts another friend who deals in light comercials says the auctions are flooded with them !!! but the others like the hilux mitsi and ranger are hard to find and even harder to buy at a price to sell on and make a profit
hope this helps you.........

they dont drink fuel at all and can tow 2.7t
ive not had any clutch problems and have done 86k now in myn, they go well are very comfy and are as good as anything else.all kinda makes can have problems ,,my brothers 08 defender has just blown up and his disco was nothing but bother, there is good and bad in all cars so you just pick one and hope im afraid,,,,but this nissan is my 7th navara and i really do like them, myn is doing 35mpg unless your going above 80 or 90

i tow with a nissan navara aventura double cab and love it. it is a 2.5td had the engine chipped and get 37mpg, i tow a 511 easy with it, and its auto, i used to have a L200 which was useless and had no steering lock on it all .
