Nissan Qashqai with 1800kg Towing Capacity

I’m sure this has been asked before but I can’t find any consistent answers.
Can a Nissan Qashqai with a towing capacity of 1800kg tow 1600kg? (Trailer + horse + tack)
Please look at photo attached
Does anyone have this model or know if they are common?

No expert but would say so. You have 200kg to play with. ROG is the best person to ask!!

Don’t buy a Qashqai for towing, they are gutless. My sharer had a 1600 and it struggled on the flat with 4 passengers let alone towing a trailer and horse plus associated tack. There are better towing vehicles out there.

I wouldn't attempt to tow that sort of weight with a 1.6 litre engine. Gutless! You could also end up with the tail wagging the dog if the trailer is heavier than the car.

Never towed with it but had our qashqai for 6 months and then chucked it - absolutely useless
