Nitrogen fertiliser

I've had regular soil analyses and the muck spread earlier in the year is pretty much sitting on the surface.

What I need is growth and although rain is critical speaking to local farmers getting fertiliser on when we have some reliable rainfall incoming should help.
Yes it will - sorry think my reply came across wrong I was agreeing yes to fertilizer, soil and grass needs feeding to stay healthy - timing it before some soft sustained rain to get it into the soil is ideal. Or you could ask if anyone local can spray liquid fertilizer for you?

I haven't really got the acreage (at least the resting bits) to hire someone - not worth their while. Just need to try and head off the clover and trefoil or its going to be a very painful winter. Not helped by hay yields being 60% down
