Was she pleased to have me visit? Was she heck as like. She was too busy eating. I think her face in the first one says it all.

And her massive bandage!

Awww, bless Nitty :) Do you know when she can come home, yet?

I reckon Be has stayed in every one of those boxes, at least once

Be likes going to the vet hospital 'cause they feed her better than I do :p

I remember you saying she was having a small lump removed from her hock - that bandage is huge!

How much longer is she in for? Hoping to go see mine tomorrow, he'll still be radioactive

I thought mine might be bothered when I left him, as he is quite a clingy horse, but all he cared about was the food

She can come home early next week :)

SF I think they are being ultra careful with because one of my friends is a vet there and keeps checking up on them! I actually feel quite sorry for everyone else up there. Hence enormous bandage and specially discussed recovery plan!

Puppy, I was there at 5 and noticed she had a bowl of feed outside her door to have her Danilon in. She isn't being fed at home at all so they'll be mutiny when I go to pick her up. She seems very happy there. She probably won't get on the lorry.

BB222, probably. She does that a lot at the moment!

O and stencilface, what is up with yours? I must have missed that. Hope he's ok anyway

pmp, if it moves and it shouldn't; duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should; WD40 :D

Slight lameness since April. I was leaving it (under my vets supervision) on field rest, as thought it might just fix in its own time. Never been any heat or swelling, and other than maybe something in his stifle perhaps, I haven't a clue really - and neither do the vets. He had nuclear scintigraphy today, which might be followed up with ultrasound once they know a bit more. He's only lame after a flexion, and on a circle on a hard surface - but even then, not really even that lame! :)

Vet did comment on how supple he seemed though, and that our farrier was obviously very good given the condition of his feet and the shoeing - which is nice! :D

SF, hope you get to the bottom of it

M, she is clearly starved by me. You can see what awful condition she is in (actually my YM's pony is in and she's only about 14hh and is 1kg heavier than Nits.I looked on both of their boards because I'm nosey. Nitty is about 15.2hh at the moment ;)

Love the first pic.... "Mu-ummmm, I is very busy eating and you're embarassing me!"

Hope her recovery goes well :)

Sort of. He goes off to graze a little bit now but whenever I bring him down to the yard he screams when we get near their boxes. He clearly still thinks she's going to be in there! Fool!

Aww thanks all you guys for replying :) I'm glad you all think she looks ok. I was expecting her to look at least a bit sorry for herself and there was this bouncy, healthy looking thing in the box instead. I wish I looked that well after I had surgery! I looked rough as a dog.
