She was very good. I only nearly fell off once and that was me being a pleb rather than her.

Here she is with her buddies

and here are her ears

what a good girly. :)

She really was incredibly good. Until I let her try and escape under the breast bar. Oops! She didn't seem too fussed by my idiocy fortunately.

That isn't the only ear photo I took :D

Clever Nitty :D

Did BH scream and scream for her the whole time she was gone or did he forget all about her as soon as she was out of sight

BH didn't scream and scream because 1) I gave him 3mls of Sedalin and 2) I very kindly put him in the tiny paddock right next to the gentle older horses who held his hand. lol

TFF- you've seen pictures of my trailer before! I didn't fall off, I just nearly fell off. I held my neckstrap! :D

In my defence I'm riding in my showing saddle at the moment and Suziq will vouch for me that there really isn't much of it! I can't wait for the saddler to hurry up and sort me out a GP so I'm not dicing with death!! :D

Good work on keeping BH calm :)

You went hacking on your newly backed 4 year old in your show saddle  Full marks for bravery!!! I agree there is not a lot of it. Looks like it was a lovely day to get out and make the most of the sunshine :D

Suziq I don't have anything else which fits her  It's like riding around on a greased pig

Natch, yep. This was at Wideham :)

Thought I recognised the sandy grassy tracks just perfect for horses, the flatness, the perfect combination of trees for shelter and open spaces to blow the flies away.

I really miss the riding there. Im all wistful now.

It was nice indeed. Shame my horse isn't up to a nice canter yet as there were some good looking galloping places about. I'll have to go back later in the year ;)
