Which product do you prefer and why? Also thinking about feeding turmeric instead any thoughts?
My mare has a slight un soundness due to old stifle injury creeping up in old age. Want to help her be comfortable in light work

I use Boswellia (the main active component of Alphabute but a whole lot cheaper!)
Turmeric definately worth a try. Sadly my boy's digestive system can't tolerate it so it's a no go for us.

I had incredible results with it when I put my arthritic mare on it. She had bad knees and was stumbling so much, even in walk I had to stop riding her, but within a week of using Bute X as Alphabute was called then, I was able to go hacking across the fields again including having a good whizz. The only problem was that it smells like the incense burner at a Catholic Mass, and my girl was a right fussy chops, so I literally had to introduce it a pinch at a time.
