No dressage at Hickstead tomorrow

URGENT INFORMATION - Premier league Show
Classes 17, 19, 24 and 26 (Dressage Masters Nov, Elem, Med and Adv Med) are postponed to Saturday 7 July due to adverse parking conditions on the showground. Please telephone the office 01444 882150 for revised times between 12noon and 2pm on Thursday 5 July.
Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.

If anyones going the ground at Hickstead is now wet, muddy and slippey, so high heels are probably not the best things to wear!! x
 
Ooops, yes I saw the tractor stuck in the entrance to the dressage bit as we were leaving after watching the showjumping. What a shame for everyone that was entered. Surely the rain's got to stop soon...
 
I'm so disappointed. I was supposed to be doing the Medium semi-final and next Saturday I'm taking a clinic in Guernsey so I won't be able to go!!

Certainly going to make the Derby interesting as the bank's not going to hold up for long

Wonder if this rain was the rain Hugh Thomas was expecting 8 weeks ago?

I know! Isn't it amazing to think how rock hard the ground was only a few weeks ago? And before that events were being cancelled due to wet ground.

We got a telephone call at 8pm last night after we had bathed Diva, trussed her up like a turkey so she would stay clean, cleaned the the tack and packed the lorry

Next week I was going to Limes but the good wife that I am have said that OH can take her back Hickstead instead.
Just glad we didn't decide to stable her there otherwise it would have been a very wasted journey.
