We are on a lush, private yard belonging to a friend but unfortunately we have no electric and for various reasons this is unlikely to be fixed before the spring - which is fine as it is perfect in every other way and we and (more importantly!) horses are very happy there.

However, it is becoming problematic as we are very limited with what we can do without power... Unfortunately car headlights are out due to the position of stables and driveways so the plan is to invest in headlamps, camping lanterns etc...

Here's where I could do with some help as something rechargeable (can take home daily if needed) but bright with a long range is ideally what we need, even better if we could put 4 around edge of school....

Shopping suggestions please :)

Ta :)

I used to use cheap stick on lights with a cord for the stables/yard, they were about £2 and batteries lasted a few weeks and lit up a stable, two for the tackroom :) I think you can find them in any bargain store if they still do them!

I don't electricity at my yard but my dad has wired in normal lights that we run off of leisure batteries. They are as bright as mains lights and more importantly cheaper! :)

I have solar lights that run off a battery - there are plently of posts if you do a search & I also some rechargeable led lights that I got from Clas Ohlson £10 per liight that work quite well x
