we couldnt get to the vets last night as my car was frozen and the doors wouldnt open!!

took her this morning, vet has changed her medication, as he thinks its something wrong with the gullet, hes given her till tuesday then she is getting reffered to the royal vet college. he has warned us this could be it for her and we should consider what would be best

Hope she is getting better! if not the RVC are amazing and I am sure they will do everything they can to help you if it comes to that!

If your vet is giving such dire warnings - tell them to refer you today so that she can be admitted either this afternoon or first thing tomorrow.

thanks everybody,

i was ready to take her to the RVC this afternoon, but she is my mums dog and she wants to wait to see of these new drugs work, if there is no improvement over the weekend i will be pushing to take her back to the vets for a referal.

Ellie has eaten and kept it down so fingers crossed she starts to feel better. thanks again everyone x
