No large animal rescue in North Wales!!!

So I'm out tonight with my horse. In North Wales we no longer have large animal rescue service available to us in emergencies! Very worrying especially as my 5 tonne horse box with the love of my life horse in the back was run off the road by a camper van last year, miraculously missed going down a large ditch! That's how much they care about us! A saving of £10,000 a year allegedly! Very sad and very worrying! Hope the Cheshire girl is safely in England if I have any problems! Not happy 😱
 
That's worrying. £10k a year is nothing really in the scheme of things. Definitely consider lobbying the heck out of your local MP
 
Is it only N Wales? I saw it on the news recently and assumed it was the whole of Britain? I wonder if they would come out if you offered to pay (insurance claim maybe?)
 
We are campaigning largely to overturn this. I think its horrific and selfish of them. More people will get hurt because of it!

Driving out last night I must admit I had a little sickening 'what if' feeling. Lone woman, big vehicle, vulnerable etc, etc! Especially passing where I'd been run off the road! They have to reinstate this for farmers and equestrians!
