I am really hoping we won't hear anymore fireworks tonight, from around 6 - 10.30 we could hear fireworks going off last night and our Jack Russell barked at every bang and was running round the house :( had a headache to say the least. My Yorkie was much better this year though, she is usually a shaking wreck and hides but i think she was more confused with Bugs barking.
The Lab slept through all the commotion as usual.

Also when walking the dogs this morning I saw used fireworks on the path and side of the stream, sticking up out of the ground which had flown out of someones garden

:mad:im really fed up!!!!! just congratulated myself as my lurcher was ok last night and friday night as i gave her i acp(10mg) at about 5 each night...didnt give her any today as thought the idiots wouldnt have yet more fireworks, but no they are really loud!!!!!! i am angry, i live in a small village and there are loads of dogs and horses, and i cant see the need for b.......y fireworks 3 nights running....... ive just given her an acp tablet but not sure how long it will take to work(if at all) as she is in a real state, tembling ,panting and pacing.........IT MAKES ME SOOOOOO MAD!!!!! rant over:(:(

I also live in a small village and there was more last night than i've heard round here before and i've been here 10yrs! Could also hear and see them from town late last night.
I expect they will be being set off over the next couple of days:mad:

Personally i think it should maybe be restricted to planed public dispays or people should only be allowed to set them off on certain days, my OH was calling me a scrooge when i was moaning and said that last night.

Fireworks are illegal here (other than at organised displays) but it doesn't stop people setting them off for days up to and past July 4th. One of mine hates them and barks all the time when he hears them poor lad. I'm thankful we moved from the area where it really used to happen to a place more in the country where the neighbours don't feel the need to do it ...

I sympathise with those that have to suffer this, I've moved to a rural village from a well built up town and the difference is amazing. I've only heard a couple go off last night and that was it, back in the town you would here them every night for 3 weeks or more.

OH's son's little Bichon spent the evening out in the garden with us watching and enjoying the fire works. Crazy, I know. But she loved every minute of it.
