No transport!!!! Any hire places in Leicester?

Just found out where a show that I had been looking forward to this year (and one that I had planned on hacking to), is going to be held somewhere 14 miles away and unhackable (checked google maps and I either have to jump locked 5 bar gates, ride over cattle grids or go on the M1!!).

I know this is a long shot but does anyone know of any transport companies in Leicestershire? I rang John Hyde with no luck and I don't have a 4x4 or any access to a 4x4 to rent a horse trailer from Barwell.

Or am I just wasting my money on lessons and expensive tack to be forced to be a "happy hacker"?

Try a company called EastMidlands Equine, used them a few times and seemed quite reasonable.
Should be able to find them on Google, if not let me know and I'll have a dig around for the number

Got it, thank you! I will have a chat with my OH to see of he fancies driving to Loughborough to get it and see if my friend wants to split costs with me.
Sigh, it's so much easier (and cheaper) just hacking to shows!
