Is there such a thing as no VPL knickers that don't go up your bum when you're riding? Have seen quite a few different ones on Amazon but worry about the quality and cut with unknown brands.

M&S seem to have lost their way both with the fit of their pants and how long they last for.

As I'm middle aged I prefer something with decent tummy and bum coverage and definitely no thongs!

My Equetech unpadded riding briefs are both very comfortable and pretty forgiving re VPL. They are seam free in areas where you don’t want seams 🙂

I rode in mine for 10 hours over 2 days recently on a trail ride and didn’t get any saddle related discomfort at all. You can get padded versions, but I’ve never tried those.

They seem to be currently out of stock at the suppliers but they might be available from eBay.

I always wear Jockey pants and don't buy very tight jods. That works!
Thanks. I have to admit I didn't know Jockey did pants for women and thought it was just men. Have just had a look on their website though and they have quite a few promising looking styles, and not too pricey either. I'm going to order a few and see how I get on.

Done that once. Never again! Not with an exercise saddle anyway 😂
Yeah it's not happening. I imagine it would create more problems than it solves 😂.

I wear M&S No VPL microfibre knickers.
I've gone off M&S stuff a bit as I don't really like the styles they do now. Thanks though.

Thanks, I did have some of their shorts actually and found them comfortable but wouldn't really want them for every day wear. Will have a look at these ones. I don't want padded either.

Matalan's cheap-and-cheerful seam-frees.
Thank you, will take a look.

M&S don't fit me at all. They're too tight in certain areas and too loose in other areas. My solution for no VPL is to wear a pair of compression leggings under my breeches.

If you're comfy, does it matter if vpl is showing, being a bloke I don't really care seeing or not, or is it uncomfy when riding, my problems are obviously different when it comes to riding comfort.
This ^^^, and I'm not-a-bloke. I also don't wear those short little bum-freezer jackets that are the thing now. As a judge I honestly can't say I've ever noticed anyone's underwear.

I just wear G strings. At least they’re up your bum where they’re supposed to be 😂 but I find them comfiest. I can’t cope with knickers ruffling so if I’m wearing jods/leggings it has to be a thong.
