Has anyone experienced this before?
First Homebred Filly, almost six months, easy to do, lovely to handle, textbook first six months, however,
Have never seen anything like the levels of neighing, squeeling and what can only be described as general chatter?
She will neigh out in the field, neigh at birds in the field, sometimes she will just look up from grazing have a little neigh and then carry on. She whinnies when you speak to her, she neighs at the top of her lungs at the post van coming past her field etc etc.
None of my others respond to her, Dam is vocal in the stable at feed time, but not excessive, Is she just testing her voice box out? Will she be like this for ever
???
Having had weanlings and youngsters before I have honestly never seen anything like it?
Any experiences welcome!!
