this award will be given to the horse or pony, competing in any disciple at any time in the past century, whose actions have most captured the public's imagination, and whose actions or story have improved the general public's knowledge of and interest in equestrian sports.

Bonfire - the dressage horse

Milton - captured everyones hearts and imaginations.

Pretty Polly - the original Childrens Show Pony.

Kauto Star - he has had a huge impact on racing and the general public. Whilst Frankel has beaten all before him King Kauto had peoples hearts in their mouths until the last fence was jumped.
