Hi

2 weeks ago I ordered a pair of breeches from a very well known internet supplier. The next day I received an email to say they had been dispatched. 5 days later when they still hadn't arrived I contacted the supplier who replied saying that they 'believed' they had been delivered to the wrong address, but weren't sure if it was theirs or the couriers fault. They are refusing to give me a refund or send aanother pair until they have located and either had the original delivery returned, or received a refund from the couriers.

Am I being unresonable in demanding either a refund or they dispatch another pair. My contract was with the supplier and not the courier, and I don't see why I have to wait for them to resolve the issue before i receive my goods. In the meantime I still don't have a pair of breeches, and feel loath to go out and buy another pair, thus being out of pocket until such time as they locate my order.

I have given them 5 days to either get my order to me or a full refund, after which time I will contact Paypal and raise a dispute with them.

Raise a dispute now and ask for your money back. I would check your terms and conditions but you might be leaving it for too long if you wait a further 5 days,

Agree with this - raise the dispute - you ordered goods and havent had them, not your prob what happened in between that is for them to sort out, you can always close the dispute once resolved but if you run out of time with Paypal the deadline doesnt stretch!

Will wait for the post tomorrow morning and if no sign I will contact paypal. Just can't believe they have admitted not my fault but unwilling to refund me until they have resolved it.
