Where can I source some NON elastic side reins from? I can find endless amounts of side reins with elastic inserts but am specifically looking for some plain ones without elastic (ideally in giraffe side for horse with v long neck!).

Thanks :)

i will probably get shot down by the safety police but i use leg straps taken off old rugs.

the ones with a clip at each end are great as you simply clip to the bit and the other end to the roller or saddle and they are really easy to adjust.

when you think about it, there are no differences between side reins and leg straps apart from the price.

Why do you want non elasticated ones? Any contact with the bit- be it by the rider or via side reins should be elastic imo. A fixed contact is very hard on the mouth and is asking for resistance and discomfort.
