I had been boring my work friends this morning with chat of my horse's tendon injury (I listen to their boring chat so felt justified venting) next thing I know, one of my male colleagues pipes up with, "what's wrong with your horse, is it because you are too heavy for it" haha, good lord, talk about kicking someone when they are down!!!! just for the record, the tedon injury was done in the field and I am confident I am not too heavy for her but jeezy peeps im not dishing out any horsey chat at work again!!

Don't let it bother you, I work with mainly men so I'm used to stuff along the lines of;
-do you ride bareback?
-do you like a good jump?
- if your horse is a mare does that mean you like riding girls?
- do you want to ride a stallion?
- how long can you ride for?
- do you prefer to be on top when you ride?
- have you 'done' your horse this morning?
And plenty similar ones. Tbh, I give as good as I get, & take it in the way its meant, as a joke & nothing more.

hehe, bareback is always a classic for the non horsey, I remeber I fell off my previous horse after riding bareback, I was really winded and sore and considering a trip to a and e but my other half was doubled up in hyseterics when I phoned him looking for sympathy after I explained that I had fallen off after riding bareback....
