My Grandma passed away this morning at 10.50am with us by her side. It was peaceful, and she was 77.
She'd battled cancer for 2 years, and as a result we think had just been weakened by infections etc and ended up back in hospital about 4 weeks ago.
We got called to the hospital at 7am this morningas she was very drowsy.
I feel totally ripped apart, guilty when I'm not crying, and I can't believe we have to sort everything so fast it seems we haven't even had time to start grieving.
Any advice, words of comfort or indeed just cyber hugs are welcome. I'm heartbroken.
R.I.P Grandma, I love you xx

So sorry to hear this, ((((hugs)))) to you. You cry as much as you want - it all helps to cope. There is so much to do, but it will pull you all together as a family and help with grieving.

Sorry I can't offer more comfort - rest assured it will get easier xxxx

Many hugs, but your gran's not gone, if she's in your thoughts and heart and always standing looking over you to make sure that nothing bad happen's to you. Just like mine does and she died over 43 years ago. On a clear night look ar the stars and the brighest one will be her, beleive me.

I'm really sorry for your loss. Don't feel guilty about not crying, my grandmother passed away three years ago and it was only a while later that I actually managed to cry properly. Your grandmother sounded like a very strong lady and I know exactly how it feels to lose someone who you were so close to. In time it will get easier but you'll always have wonderful memories to remember her by. <<<<BIG HUGS>>>>>
