Hi, I’ve just joined as my daughter has finally prevailed and is going to be taking her share horse on full loan. She’s very confident and competent - me, not so much! I think it’s going to be quite a steep learning curve ...

Thanks - after 7 years of lessons and riding holidays I’ve got used to the depleted finances .... although I do occasionally wonder what might have been if she’d chosen another hobby. But then I see her face when she’s riding and it makes it worthwhile

and if you find yourself stuck for information, then there are lots of very knowledgeable people on here who are always happy to share.....

as in all walks of life, some are more knowledgeable than others, and some are more vocal than others, but there is a huge depth of information here and you only have to ask!

No question is stupid - we have all been there and had to learn it ourselves !

Welcome...I wonder how long it will be before your daughter is posting on here to ask the best type of horse to buy for her mum! I hope you both enjoy the ..I was going to say hobby but I mean all consuming lifestyle!
